Satan

Satan – Who is He and Where Did He Come From

And War Broke Out in Heaven: Michael and his angels fought against the dragon; and the dragon and his angels fought, but they did not prevail, nor was a place found for them in heaven any longer. So, the great dragon was cast out, that serpent of old, called the Devil and Satan, who deceives the whole world; he was cast to the earth, and his angels were cast out with him Dragon Cast Out of Heaven (see Rev. 12:3-4).

This is a cause of great rejoicing in heaven: “Now salvation, and strength and the kingdom of our God, and the power of His Christ have come, for the accuser of our brethren, who accused them before our God day and night, has been cast down … Therefore rejoice, O heavens, and you who dwell in them” (Rev 12:10, 12). But it’s not a cause of great rejoicing on earth: “Woe to the inhabitants of the earth and the sea! For the devil has come down to you, having great wrath, because he knows that he has a short time Devil (see Rev. 12:12).

Satan will try to finish in the Great Tribulation what he was unable to accomplish through Hitler’s Holocaust, but once more he will be prevented from wiping out the Jews.

Rev. 12:14-17 tells how God will miraculously protect the people of Israel for the last three and a half years of the Tribulation. This so enrages the devil that he goes off “to make war with the rest of her offspring, who keep the commandments of God and have the testimony of Jesus Christ” where two wings of a great eagle rescues Israel and keeps her in safety for the last three and one-half years of the Great Tribulation Two Wings of a Great Eagle (see Rev. 12:14).

Satan’s Final Conflict: When the thousand years are over, Satan will be released from his prison and will go out to deceive the nations in the four corners of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them for battle. In number they are like the sand on the seashore Gog and Magog (See Rev. 20:8).

“They marched across the breath of the earth and surrounded the camp of God’s people, the city He loves. But fire came down from heaven and devoured them. And the devil, who deceived them, was thrown into the lake of fire burning with brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet had been thrown. They will be tormented day and night forever and ever” Lake of Fire Burning with Brimstone (See Rev. 19:20).
